Golden State Valkyries Announce Inaugural Roster

The Golden State Valkyries, the newest WNBA team and the first expansion team since 2008, have announced their inaugural roster following the expansion draft. The team, led by general manager Ohemaa Nyanin and head coach Natalie Nakase, selected players from 11 of the 12 existing WNBA teams, choosing not to pick from the Seattle Storm. The Valkyries will play their home games at Chase Center in San Francisco, sharing the venue with the NBA's Golden State Warriors.
