Paris Increases Parking Rates for Heavy Vehicles

Paris is implementing a significant reduction in the speed limit on the Boulevard Périphérique from 70 kph to 50 kph, alongside tripling parking fees for heavy vehicles starting October 1. Additionally, parking fees for heavy vehicles in central Paris will now cost 18 euros for one hour and up to 225 euros for six hours, with exemptions for residents and certain groups. The new regulations will be enforced through automated license plate recognition to ensure compliance.
