Riyan Parag declared fit, to lead Assam against Saurashtra in Ranji Trophy

Riyan Parag, the 23-year-old all-rounder, is set to make his return to competitive cricket as he leads Assam in their Ranji Trophy match against Saurashtra starting January 30. Parag has been sidelined since October due to a shoulder injury that required surgery, which also kept him out of the T20I series against South Africa and India's Champions Trophy squad. His previous Ranji season saw him performing exceptionally well, scoring 378 runs in six innings with an average of 75.60 and hitting 20 sixes.
