Records Broken at Indian Open U23 Championships

The Indian Open U23 Athletics Championships saw multiple meet records broken over its three-day event at the Patliputra Sports Complex. Notably, Haryana's Jyoti shattered her own javelin throw record with a distance of 58.49m, and Delhi's Tushar Kanti Manna set a new 400m record at 45.92 seconds. Olympian Ankita Dhyani also made a strong debut in the 3000m steeplechase, winning gold in 10:17.25 seconds. Other notable performances included Animesh Kujur winning the 100m with a time of 10.40 seconds and Haryana's Abhimanyu equalling the discus throw record at 53.66m. The first day featured three records, including Tanya Chaudhary's hammer throw and Poorva Hitesh Sawant's triple jump records.
