Twins Announce 2025 Home Opener Plans April 3

The Minnesota Twins have announced their plans for the 2025 Home Opener at Target Field, scheduled for April 3 against the Houston Astros, with a first pitch at 3:10 p.m. Fans can attend a 'Breakfast on the Plaza' from 6 to 9 a.m., featuring complimentary food and live music. The gates will open at 1 p.m. with the help of Twins legends like Tony Oliva and Kent Hrbek, and the first 10,000 attendees will receive a Twins City Connect Beanie. Nelson Cruz will throw the ceremonial first pitch, and there will be a flyover by two F-16s from the Minnesota National Guard. Additionally, the event will honor the late Michael Brindisi with a performance by cast members of 'Grease.' Tickets for the opener start at just $9.
