MOBO Awards 2025 to be Held in Newcastle

The MOBO Awards will be held in Newcastle for the first time on February 18, 2025, at the Utilita Arena, celebrating Black music and culture. In conjunction with the awards, the MOBO Fringe Festival will feature a series of events aimed at highlighting local talent and engaging the community, organized with Newcastle City Council and local music organizations. This year's awards will follow a successful event in Sheffield, which included a three-day program of activities such as talent showcases and educational initiatives involving local schools. Kanya King, CEO of MOBO Group, expressed excitement about bringing the event to Newcastle, emphasizing the city's rich cultural history and vibrant community. Fans can register for a 24-hour exclusive ticket presale starting October 4, with general sales beginning the next day. The ceremony promises to be a significant cultural event, showcasing both established and emerging artists.
