Police responded to reports of a burglary at a gated community on Santa Fe Avenue and found Butron with multiple stab wounds; she was pronounced dead at the scene. Rowles has been arrested and is being held on $2 million bail, with detectives still investigating the circumstances and motive behind the stabbing.
