CBGB Festival Headlined by Iggy Pop, Sex Pistols, Jack White in Brooklyn

The CBGB Festival, named after the iconic New York punk club, is set for September 27 at Under the K Bridge Park in Brooklyn, reviving the spirit of the legendary venue with a lineup bridging punk's origins and its modern torchbearers. Headliners include Iggy Pop, performing his first New York show in over a decade, Jack White, and the Sex Pistols, featuring original members with Frank Carter on vocals. The festival will showcase 21 bands across three stages, including punk pioneers like The Damned, Marky Ramone, and Johnny Marr, alongside contemporary acts such as The Linda Lindas and Lambrini Girls. Tickets go on presale May 15, with a special discounted 'Young Punk' ticket available for New York residents under 25, limited to 350 tickets priced at $73, an homage to the original club's capacity and founding year. The event celebrates CBGB's legacy of raw energy and rebellion, offering music, vintage merchandise, local food, and cultural installations in a venue chosen for its gritty, industrial vibe.
