Wrestling Legend Jim Ross Plans Colon Cancer Surgery, AEW Appearance

Legendary wrestling commentator and WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has been diagnosed with colon cancer and is scheduled for surgery on May 27, 2025. Despite the serious diagnosis, Ross remains optimistic and plans to continue his career, expressing no intention to retire and hoping to participate in AEW events such as All In Texas in July. He described the surgery as less invasive, involving laser technology, and expects a hospital stay of about six days followed by a brief recovery period. Ross highlighted the strong support he has received from friends like Steve Austin and AEW President Tony Khan, who has been very supportive since Ross joined the company.
