Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually inaugurate the Pune-Hubli Vande Bharat Express on September 15, marking the commencement of this high-speed train service. The train, featuring eight coaches, will improve connectivity between major cities including Pune, Hubli, Kolhapur, Sangli, Satara, and Karad. This service aims to meet the growing demand for faster and more comfortable travel options, offering a journey time of approximately 9 hours. Additionally, the Vande Bharat Express will be among 10 new trains launched on the same day to boost inter-city connectivity in India. The train will depart from Hubli at 5:00 AM and reach Pune by 1:30 PM, with a return journey starting at 2:15 PM from Pune, reaching Hubli by 11:00 PM. This initiative is part of a broader effort by Indian Railways to modernize and enhance passenger travel experiences.
