Reeve Wins Coach and Executive of the Year

Minnesota Lynx head coach Cheryl Reeve has been honored with the 2024 WNBA Coach of the Year and Executive of the Year awards, making her the first person to win the coaching award four times. Reeve led the Lynx to a franchise-record 30-10 season and the No. 2 seed in the playoffs. Napheesa Collier was named Defensive Player of the Year and earned All-Defensive First Team honors, contributing significantly with averages of 20.4 points and 9.7 rebounds per game. The Lynx, who swept the Phoenix Mercury in the first playoff round, will face the Connecticut Sun in the semifinals. Reeve's strategic offseason acquisitions, including Alanna Smith and Myisha Hines-Allen, played a pivotal role in the team's success. The Lynx aim for their first WNBA title since 2017.
