Two Injured in Rollover Crashes Near Golden Gate Park San Francisco
A rollover crash involving two vehicles occurred near the intersection of Great Highway and Lincoln Way in San Francisco's Outer Sunset neighborhood on Sunday evening, causing traffic disruptions and prompting police to urge the public to avoid the area. The San Francisco Police Department responded promptly, finding one driver treated at the scene and the other transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The accident involved a black Mazda minivan overturned on its side and a gray Nissan Rogue, with neither driver suffering significant injuries. The crash site is close to Golden Gate Park and the Outside Lands music festival, which was ongoing at the time. Authorities closed the Great Highway from John F. Kennedy Drive to Lincoln Way to facilitate their investigation, which continued into the night. Meanwhile, Bakersfield police are investigating an unrelated rollover crash on California Avenue near Union Avenue, with details and injury status still unknown.
