Greenbrier Resort Hosts Inaugural Basketball Tournament

College basketball is set to take center stage in various locations, including New York City and The Greenbrier in West Virginia. In New York, Hall of Fame coach Rick Pitino leads No. 22 St. John's in the NYC Hoops for Heroes Classic, marking their return to the AP Top 25 after nearly six years. Concurrently, The Greenbrier will host its inaugural Tip-Off tournament on November 15 and 16, featuring teams like Charleston Southern, Tennessee Tech, and UTRGV, with a women’s game also scheduled against Navy on November 17. The event aims to enhance the resort's sports offerings and attract fans from across the country. Additionally, the following weekend will see major teams compete in the Mountain Division, including Wisconsin and LSU. Both the NYC and Greenbrier events highlight the growing excitement in college basketball this season.
