Sen. Mayes Middleton enters Texas Attorney General race

He plans to self-fund his campaign with a personal investment of $10 million, positioning himself as a staunch defender of Texas' conservative agenda. His campaign will focus on law and order, education reform, and economic growth, aligning with former President Trump’s policies. Middleton joins former U.S. Attorney John Bash in the race, marking the first open contest for the attorney general position since Paxton's election in 2014.
