The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) seized over 1,300 bottles containing 1,278 litres of liquid methamphetamine disguised as grape and apple juice, with a street value of $2 million. The consignment, originating from Brazil and bound for Australia, was intercepted on June 27 at the Fraser Surrey Docks. The investigation, involving the Australian Federal Police (AFP), led to the replacement of the meth with an inert substance before it continued to Brisbane. Three men in Queensland were subsequently arrested and face life imprisonment if convicted. This operation highlights the collaborative efforts of CBSA, RCMP, and AFP in disrupting international drug trafficking networks. The meth, once converted to crystal form, was valued at $400 million AUD ($367 million CAD) in Australia.
