Hoyos is linked to high-profile graffiti on landmarks such as the now-demolished VITAS building and the I-395 overpass, causing thousands of dollars in damage. He faces multiple felony charges, including burglary, criminal mischief, and trespassing. Authorities used digital evidence, including location data and social media posts, to connect Hoyos to these crimes. Police Chief Manny Morales praised the detectives’ dedication in apprehending Hoyos and emphasized ongoing efforts to pursue others involved.
