ReNew Energy Reports 415% Q4 Net Profit Surge, Expands 18.5GW Portfolio
ReNew Energy Global Plc reported a significant increase in net profit for the fourth quarter of FY25, rising to Rs 313.7 crore from Rs 60.9 crore in the previous year, driven by higher revenues from power sales and module and cell manufacturing operations. The company's total revenue for Q4 FY25 reached Rs 3,439.1 crore, with revenue from power sales increasing to Rs 1,829.4 crore. For the full fiscal year, net profit grew to Rs 459.1 crore on total revenues of Rs 10,907 crore, supported by a 10.7% rise in net profit and a 60% year-over-year revenue growth in the final quarter. ReNew's clean energy portfolio expanded to approximately 18.5 GW gross, including 1.2 GW of power purchase agreements signed post-fiscal year-end, alongside 6.5 GW of solar module manufacturing and 2.5 GW of cell manufacturing capacity. Despite rising raw material costs and increased finance expenses affecting margins, the company continues to advance its commissioned capacity, which reached about 11.2 GW after commissioning additional solar and wind assets. These developments highlight ReNew's robust growth and strategic expansion in the global renewable energy sector.
