Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana has had an extraordinary year, setting the record for the most international runs in a calendar year across all formats with 1,602 runs in 2024. In T20Is, she scored 763 runs, breaking the previous record held by Chamari Athapaththu, and achieved 30 fifty-plus scores, surpassing Suzie Bates' record of 29 in Women's T20Is. Mandhana also set a new record for the most runs in a bilateral T20I series for India, with 193 runs against the West Indies, overtaking Mithali Raj's previous record.
