Despite Reeves' character seemingly dying in 'John Wick: Chapter 4,' Lionsgate has announced the development of 'John Wick 5,' although Reeves has expressed skepticism about returning due to his character's apparent death. Lionsgate's Jenefer Brown hinted that John Wick's fate remains uncertain, suggesting the storyline might evolve to bring him back. The John Wick franchise continues to expand with additional spinoffs, a TV series, and a video game in the works. Chad Stahelski, the director, stated that any potential John Wick 5 would not follow the same storyline as the previous movie, appealing to the franchise's strong fan base and commercial success.
