Nottingham Forest Signs Striker Igor Jesus for £10m

Nottingham Forest have signed Brazilian striker Igor Jesus from Botafogo on a four-year deal for a reported £10 million, strengthening their squad ahead of a return to European competition for the first time since 1995-96. The 24-year-old impressed at the Club World Cup, scoring twice including a decisive goal against Paris Saint-Germain and earning player of the match honors. Jesus joined Botafogo from Shabab Al Ahli in July 2024, where he scored 17 goals in 59 appearances. He recently earned his first Brazil national team call-up, scoring on his debut against Chile.
