Two Dead in Delaware Car Crash
A tragic two-vehicle crash in Seaford, Delaware, early Sunday morning claimed the lives of two University of Maryland Eastern Shore students and left several others critically injured. The collision, which occurred around 1:34 a.m., involved a 2016 Nissan Rogue traveling south and a 2005 Honda Pilot traveling north in the southbound lane, leading to a head-on impact. The deceased passengers in the Nissan Rogue were an 18-year-old woman from Pennsylvania and a 22-year-old man from North Carolina. The driver of the Rogue and another passenger, both in critical condition, were hospitalized along with the driver of the Honda Pilot and his passenger. Authorities suspect impairment may have been a factor in the crash, and the investigation is ongoing. The university's president expressed condolences and announced counseling services for those affected by this tragedy.
