Tyler Perry honors Meghan Markle in tribute to Black women

This project also promotes a new song titled 'BLKWMN,' set to be released on February 21, highlighting the achievements of Black women throughout history and contemporary society. Perry and Markle have maintained a close friendship since 2018, when he supported her and Prince Harry during their transition to life in the U.S., including offering them a residence. The initiative showcases images from cultural events, political movements, and everyday life, emphasizing the contributions of Black women across generations. Other notable figures featured in the tribute include Queen Latifah, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Kamala Harris.
