Perfume Genius Announces New Album and Tour

Perfume Genius, the musical project of Mike Hadreas, has announced his new album titled Glory, set to be released on March 28 via Matador Records. This marks his first studio album since 2022's Ugly Season and will feature themes of fame, isolation, and the complexities of aging, particularly within gay culture. Accompanying the album is the lead single 'It's a Mirror,' which explores feelings of anxiety and introspection, supported by a music video directed by Cody Critchloe. To promote the album, Perfume Genius will embark on a North American tour starting May 12 in Healdsburg, California, and concluding on June 27 in Portland, Oregon. Pre-sale tickets will be available on January 16, with the general sale starting January 17. The tour includes stops at notable venues such as The Fillmore in San Francisco and the Brooklyn Paramount in New York.
