Rekha Gupta Sworn In as Delhi Chief Minister

Rekha Gupta, a first-time MLA, has been sworn in as the Chief Minister of Delhi, marking the BJP's return to power after 27 years. She has retained the Finance, Revenue, and Women and Child Development portfolios. Parvesh Verma has been appointed as Deputy Chief Minister and will manage the Public Works Department and Flood Control. The new cabinet, under Gupta's leadership, aims to focus on urban development, environmental issues, and women's safety as part of the 'Viksit Delhi' mission. Vijender Gupta, former Leader of the Opposition, has been appointed as Speaker of the Delhi Assembly.
