CHSN Launches on Comcast Xfinity Ultimate Tier Chicago

After months of negotiations, Chicago Sports Network (CHSN), the exclusive regional sports network for the Chicago Blackhawks, Bulls, and White Sox, has officially launched on Comcast Xfinity's Ultimate TV package on channel 200 in the Chicagoland area. This development marks a significant expansion in CHSN's distribution, allowing fans wider access to over 300 live games annually across these teams, along with original programming focused on Chicago sports at all levels. The Ultimate tier costs an additional $20 per month, though customers previously received credits to offset the loss of NBC Sports Chicago, the teams' former broadcast home. Comcast executives and CHSN leadership expressed enthusiasm that the deal aligns with the network’s vision of reaching the broadest possible Chicago audience, restoring access to many Comcast subscribers who had been missing coverage since CHSN's October 2024 launch. Besides Comcast carriage, CHSN continues to offer direct-to-consumer streaming options with tiered subscription plans. The carriage agreement resolves a contentious blackout period on Comcast, coinciding with similar tier shifts planned for other regional sports networks like Marquee Sports Network.
