Woman Found Dead in Back of Jeep on I-695

A woman was found dead in the back of a black Jeep Wrangler parked on the right shoulder of I-695 in Baltimore County, west of Perring Parkway, on Sunday morning. A Maryland State Trooper from the Golden Ring Barrack discovered the unresponsive woman around 9:45 a.m., and emergency personnel pronounced her dead at the scene. The woman’s identity has not been confirmed, and her body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death. Multiple Maryland State Police units, including the Crash Team, Criminal Enforcement Division, Forensic Sciences Division, and Baltimore County Police, are investigating the case as a death investigation.
