Kevin Costner's 'Horizon: An American Saga - Chapter 2' will premiere on September 7 at the Venice International Film Festival, following the underwhelming release of Chapter 1 in June. The festival will showcase Chapter 1 earlier that day, a move Costner praises as supportive of his vision. Despite initial plans for a theatrical release, the sequel was postponed after Chapter 1 earned only $23 million in its first two weeks, prompting efforts to allow more audiences to discover it. Costner, who has invested personal funds into the project, aims to complete a total of four films in the saga, with the third already in production. The Venice Film Festival will run from August 28 to September 7, featuring numerous highly anticipated premieres.
