K'Lavon Chaisson signs one-year, $5 million contract with Patriots

The New England Patriots have signed outside linebacker K’Lavon Chaisson to a one-year, $5 million contract, as reported by Ian Rapoport. Chaisson, 25, previously played for the Las Vegas Raiders where he had a breakout season, recording 32 tackles, five sacks, an interception, and a forced fumble in 15 games. Drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars as the 20th overall pick in 2020, he was unable to secure a long-term position and was released by the Carolina Panthers before joining the Raiders' practice squad. With this signing, the Patriots aim to enhance their pass rush, with Chaisson expected to rotate alongside Anfernee Jennings and Harold Landry.
