Steve Perry Auctions Items for Wildfire and Music Aid
Steve Perry, former lead singer of Journey, is auctioning over 50 authenticated and mostly signed items from his personal archives—including handwritten lyrics, gold and platinum records, and tour memorabilia—to aid victims of the recent Los Angeles and Altadena wildfires. The auction is hosted online until June 13 on the new Darkives Collectibles platform, launched by Dhani Harrison and Dark Horse Records. All proceeds will benefit the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, which assists not only fire victims but also musicians and industry workers facing health or financial hardships. Perry expressed his excitement about sharing these items with fans while supporting those in need. This event serves as the inaugural auction for Darkives Collectibles. Perry also recently released a duet of 'Faithfully' with Willie Nelson for Farm Aid's 40th anniversary.
