Serj Tankian new song

Serj Tankian, lead singer of System of a Down, is set to release his new EP 'Foundations' on September 27, featuring the single 'Justice Will Shine On', which reflects on the Armenian Genocide and its lasting impact on his family. The song, previously written during the band's early years, employs powerful lyrics that explore generational trauma, with Tankian asking his ancestors about their experiences. He has also released another single from the EP, 'A.F. Day', and has been promoting his recent memoir, 'Down With The System'. Tankian expresses that the EP serves as a retrospective of his musical journey, including tracks from various stages of his career. Alongside the music, he has opened the Kavat Café / Eye For Sound Art Gallery in Los Angeles and is scheduled to perform with System of a Down at a concert in San Francisco. The EP, produced by Gibson Records, promises a mix of musical styles reflecting Tankian's diverse artistic career.
