Severe Weather Brings Tornadoes Across Multiple States

Recent severe weather across multiple states resulted in several tornado confirmations by the National Weather Service (NWS). In Tennessee, multiple EF-1 tornadoes were confirmed, including one in Wilson County and another in Humphreys County, causing significant damage but no reported injuries. In Kentucky, an EF-3 tornado with winds reaching 145 mph struck Jeffersontown, marking the strongest tornado in Jefferson County since 1996, causing severe damage yet resulting in no casualties. Meanwhile, East Texas experienced two EF-1 tornadoes, with substantial damage to trees and properties. Additionally, an EF-0 tornado was confirmed in Clinton County, Ohio. Across these regions, communities are beginning recovery efforts amid assessments of the widespread storm damage.
