Multiple Arrests Seize Firearms, Fentanyl Across Virginia, Tennessee, Maryland
Law enforcement agencies across Virginia, Tennessee, and Maryland have recently conducted multiple drug and firearms busts leading to several arrests. In Hanover County and Richmond, a juvenile and a 22-year-old man were arrested after authorities seized illegal firearms, including a converted fully automatic Glock 45, narcotics such as cocaine and marijuana, and materials for manufacturing ghost guns. In West Knoxville, Tennessee, two men were arrested following a search warrant connected to overdose deaths, with nearly 65 grams of fentanyl, psilocybin mushrooms, handguns (one stolen), and cash recovered; both admitted to selling fentanyl for about a year. In Crofton, Maryland, a traffic stop of a vehicle with stolen plates resulted in the arrest of two Virginia men found with a loaded revolver, suspected fentanyl, and drug paraphernalia, with one passenger prohibited from firearm possession. These coordinated efforts highlight ongoing investigations into drug distribution, overdose incidents, and illegal possession of firearms across multiple states. Authorities continue to seek additional information from the public to aid in these investigations.
