Atlanta Hawks Sign Daeqwon Plowden to Two-Way Deal

The Atlanta Hawks have signed Daeqwon Plowden to a two-way contract following the waiving of Seth Lundy, who had not played this season due to an ankle injury. Plowden, undrafted in 2022 from Bowling Green, has been performing well in the G League with the College Park Skyhawks, averaging 14.2 points and 3.7 rebounds over 14 games. His shooting ability, particularly from three-point range, has been highlighted, as he demonstrated a 38.5% success rate from beyond the arc this season. Previously, Plowden had a brief stint with the Golden State Warriors, being waived after the Summer League. With his addition, the Hawks aim to bolster their bench shooting options, especially after Lundy's injury-prone tenure. As Plowden transitions to the NBA, he looks to make an impact as a rookie.
