Brandy, Rita Ora Return for 'Descendants: Wicked Wonderland'

Brandy and Rita Ora will reprise their roles as Cinderella and the Queen of Hearts in 'Descendants: Wicked Wonderland,' the fifth installment of the Disney franchise, set to release on Disney Channel and Disney+ in 2026. Paolo Montalban returns as King Charming, and Melanie Paxson will again play Fairy Godmother, making her the only actor to appear in all five films. The movie picks up after the events of 'Descendants: The Rise of Red,' focusing on Red and Chloe as they navigate the consequences of their time-traveling adventures. Set in present-day Wonderland, the film will explore the complexities of 'happily ever after' and the repercussions of altering the fabric of time. New and returning cast members include Kylie Cantrall, Malia Baker, Liamani Segura, and others portraying the children of iconic Disney characters. Kimmy Gatewood directs from a script by Tamara Chestna, Dan Frey, and Ru Sommer, with Suzanne Todd and Gary Marsh as executive producers.
