The wildfires, which began on January 7, have led to at least 24 fatalities and the destruction of over 12,000 buildings, forcing more than 180,000 residents to evacuate. Other musicians and entertainment figures, including Primus guitarist Larry LaLonde and actress Paris Hilton, have also reported losses, highlighting the widespread devastation in the area. A benefit concert titled FireAid has been announced to support victims of the fires, scheduled for January 30 in Los Angeles. The situation remains dire, with ongoing fire threats exacerbated by conditions like the Santa Ana winds.
