Sony Pictures has released the first look at the upcoming horror film 'Until Dawn,' a live-action adaptation of the 2015 video game. Directed by David F. Sandberg, the film features an original story set in the game's universe, where a group of friends must survive a masked killer and the unique mechanic of time loops that allows them to relive their deadly night multiple times. Each loop presents a new horror scenario, challenging the characters to make choices that impact their fates. The film aims to maintain the game's tone while expanding its narrative, and it includes returning character Dr. Hill, played by Peter Stormare. Although the movie diverges from the game's exact plot, it promises to deliver fresh twists amid familiar horror themes. An official trailer is expected to be released soon, with the film scheduled for an April 25, 2025 theatrical debut.
