Former West Palm Beach Officer Arrested Sexual Misconduct, False Imprisonment Charges

A former West Palm Beach police officer, Justice Feeley-Carim, was arrested and charged with battery and false imprisonment after allegations that he solicited sexual favors from a woman while on duty. The incident reportedly occurred at a Walmart where Feeley-Carim used his badge to coerce the woman into unwanted sexual contact during a routine patrol. He has been released on bail with conditions including in-house arrest. West Palm Beach Police Chief Tony Araujo emphasized that officers are held to the highest standards and will be fully accountable. Feeley-Carim was fired following his arrest, and the department is addressing the misconduct seriously. Meanwhile, a separate West Palm Beach police officer was also fired after an arrest on similar charges of battery and false imprisonment.
