The last day for filing nominations was September 12, with the elections scheduled for October 1, 2024. Among the candidates, Jammu district saw the highest participation with 122 nominations, followed by Baramulla (111), Kupwara (80), and others. A total of 518 nomination papers were filed, and the scrutiny of these papers will occur on September 13, allowing candidates until September 17 to withdraw.
