Fourteen-year-old Ira Jadhav from Mumbai made history by scoring an unbeaten 346 runs in the Women's U19 One Day Trophy against Meghalaya, marking the highest score by an Indian in this category. Her innings, comprising 42 fours and 16 sixes, led Mumbai to a record total of 563/3, and they eventually won by 544 runs as Meghalaya was bowled out for 19. Despite her record performance, Jadhav went unsold in the Women's Premier League 2025 auction but is listed among the standbys for India's U19 T20 World Cup squad. In another cricket event, Tamil Nadu's Narayan Jagadeesan hit six consecutive fours in an over against Rajasthan in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, contributing to Tamil Nadu's pursuit of a 268-run target.
