Patricia Prelock appointed University of Arizona provost

Patricia Prelock has been appointed as the new senior vice president for academic affairs and provost at the University of Arizona, effective May 19. She previously served as the interim president at the University of Vermont, where she was also provost since 2019, overseeing significant enrollment growth and achieving R1 research status.
