Governor Stitt Appoints Rainey Williams to OU Board of Regents

Governor Kevin Stitt has appointed Rainey Williams, a seasoned business leader and attorney from Oklahoma City, to the University of Oklahoma Board of Regents, pending confirmation by the state senate. Williams brings over three decades of experience in business, investment, and civic leadership, currently serving as president of Marco Holding Corporation and chairing several healthcare and investment boards in Oklahoma. His involvement with higher education includes roles as an adjunct professor at OU’s Price College of Business and chair of the University Hospitals Authority and Trust. Stitt praised Williams as a respected leader with a strong commitment to public service, education, and public health, emphasizing his suitability to help guide OU’s future. Williams expressed gratitude for the opportunity, highlighting OU's vital role in the state's development. His educational background includes a B.B.A. in Finance from Southern Methodist University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law.
