Leeds Rhinos' Ash Handley signs long-term contract extension until 2029

Ash Handley, a key centre for Leeds Rhinos, has signed a contract extension that will keep him at the club until the end of the 2029 Super League season. The 29-year-old, who has made 238 appearances since his 2014 debut, was initially set to be out of contract after next season but chose to commit his long-term future to his hometown club. Handley, who co-captained the team in 2025, played through a serious groin injury last season and aims to help the team reach the next level in 2026 alongside a talented group of young players.
