Stuarts Draft couple killed in Blue Ridge Parkway crash

Troy Hagwood, 62, and his wife, Cheryl Hagwood, 60, both from Stuarts Draft, Virginia, died in a fiery vehicle crash on the Blue Ridge Parkway near milepost 11 on Sunday afternoon. The couple's car struck a tree after hitting a limb, leading to a fire that engulfed the vehicle. Troy Hagwood, who had been a National Park Service employee for 16 years, was off duty at the time of the incident.
