Abbi Pulling Wins 2024 F1 Academy Title

Britain's Abbi Pulling has officially secured her second F1 Academy title after a thrilling season, which included winning pole position for three season-ending races in Abu Dhabi. Initially crowned champion in Qatar, Pulling's title was put on hold due to the addition of an extra race, leaving her just one point shy of the championship until she clinched the title with three pole positions and six additional points. Her main competitor, Doriane Pin, faced a disastrous qualifying session, which further solidified Pulling's dominance, as she had already finished on the podium in every race of the season. Pulling's success is part of the F1 Academy's initiative to support female racers in climbing the motorsport ladder, with the last woman to race in Formula One being Lella Lombardi in 1976. Throughout the season, Pulling amassed seven wins out of eleven races, showcasing her exceptional driving skills.
