Gang Rape of 13-Year-Old Dalit Girl in Mathura

In Mathura, a 13-year-old Dalit girl was abducted and gang-raped by three men after being offered drug-laced water at a local grocery store. The assailants took turns raping her inside a moving vehicle before abandoning her under a flyover. The girl managed to return home and informed her parents, who took her to the hospital where doctors confirmed the rape. A complaint was filed by her father, leading to a police investigation under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. Although two of the accused have been identified, all three suspects remain at large as police efforts to apprehend them continue. The survivor's statement is scheduled to be recorded before a magistrate as part of the ongoing investigation.
