Citrus Heights Man Arrested for Fatal June Folsom Bar Fight

Dylan Pierce, a 43-year-old man from Citrus Heights, was arrested on manslaughter charges following a deadly altercation at the Folsom bar City Slickers on June 28. The fight occurred during an event on the bar's outdoor patio, leading to the death of 63-year-old James Douglas Caddy of Fair Oaks from blunt head trauma, classified as a homicide by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office. Police investigations, using video surveillance and witness accounts, identified Pierce as the primary aggressor, resulting in an arrest warrant and his subsequent detention at Sacramento County Main Jail. Pierce was released after booking and is scheduled for arraignment at Sacramento Superior Court.
