Cintel Kelley Charged in Newport News Shooting

A Newport News man, Cintel Kelley, has been arrested and charged with the first-degree murder of his uncle, Wayne McMillan, following a shooting incident early Sunday morning. Police responded to reports of an argument and gunfire at around 4:38 AM on Forest Lake Court, discovering McMillan with a gunshot wound; he later died in the hospital. Kelley faces multiple charges including the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and reckless handling of a firearm. The incident appears to be domestic-related, and police have confirmed that they are not seeking additional suspects. Chief Drew praised community cooperation during the investigation.
