New Contestants Unveiled for Strictly 2024

Strictly Come Dancing has announced several new contestants for its 2024 series, adding to an already star-studded lineup. EastEnders' Jamie Borthwick and Olympian Tom Dean were confirmed on Radio 1, with Borthwick returning after winning the Christmas special last year. DIY SOS' Nick Knowles and Arsenal legend Paul Merson were seen heading to rehearsals, confirming their participation. Toyah Willcox and Wynne Evans were unveiled on Vernon Kay’s Radio 2 show, while Miranda star Sarah Hadland and X Factor's Shayne Ward were revealed on ITV's Lorraine. Additionally, TikTok star Ash Holme and Love Island's Tasha Ghouri are set to compete, with Ghouri being the first Love Island star with a cochlear implant to join the show.
