Metallica Hosts Annual Helping Hands Concert in LA

Metallica held their fourth Helping Hands Concert and Auction on December 13 in Los Angeles, performing a mix of rare tracks and covers, with all proceeds benefiting their All Within My Hands Foundation. The event, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, featured special guests including Sammy Hagar, who performed alongside Michael Anthony, Joe Satriani, and Kenny Aronoff. Metallica's set included long-unplayed songs such as 'Low Man's Lyric,' 'The Unforgiven II,' and their first live rendition of 'Away From Home.' The concert raised funds for workforce education, disaster relief, and hunger relief, showcasing Hetfield's commitment to giving back. This benefit concert is part of Metallica's ongoing efforts to support community initiatives, and will be available to view on YouTube starting December 19. The band plans to return to touring in April 2025.
