Philadelphia Frankford Shooting Leaves Man Critically Wounded, Police Seek Suspects

A 42-year-old man was critically wounded in a shooting incident that occurred just after midnight on the 4600 block of Torresdale Avenue in Philadelphia's Frankford neighborhood. The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds to both legs and was found unresponsive on the sidewalk before being rushed to Temple University Hospital for emergency surgery. Police recovered more than 20 shell casings at the scene, possibly from two different caliber firearms, indicating the use of semi-automatic weapons. Surveillance footage captured four individuals fleeing the area, and police are actively seeking these suspects as no arrests have been made yet. The motive remains unknown, and the Philadelphia Police Department's Shooting Investigation Group is continuing to investigate the case.
